Problem

A technical institute with multiple locations struggled with performance review issues involving rater bias of employee job competencies.

Methodology

10xSolutions developed a customized list of behaviors by rating level for every job-specific competency on the company’s five-point rating scale. The behaviors linked directly to the key job expectations and job descriptions.

Result

Supervisory management achieved a uniform basis for rating employee’s level of mastery of their job competencies. For the first time, the organization had consistency in rating performance across the organization with minimal rater bias.
