
Ray Amelio is 10xSolutions' Vice President of People
Excellence. He joined the firm in 2001 with 25+ years
of business experience spanning the entire human resource
spectrum with particular emphasis on executive coaching,
adult learning, recruiting, employee relations and the
human side of executive management. Ray regularly counsels
executive and supervisory management in how to leverage
their interpersonal communications, develop high-performance
teams and manage human performance. He frequently assists
business leaders with issues involving business ethics,
equal employment opportunity and fair employment practices.
Prior to consulting, Ray was Vice President of Training
and Employee Relations at PNC Bank. He managed the Training
and Employee Relations Department within Human Resources
and was a member of the Corporate Organization Development
Team. He also was Corporate Director of Training and
Employee Development for Adelphia Business Solutions.
During his time with Adelphia, he established a corporate
university incorporating a blended approach to learning
that utilized the classroom, corporate intranet and
the Internet.
Ray earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Duquesne
University and a Master of Arts degree in Human Resource
Management from LaRoche College with a concentration
in organizational development. He is a member of The
Society for Human Resources Management and the American
Society for Training and Development. He has taught
as an adjunct professor in graduate programs at Chatham
College, Duquesne University and LaRoche College.
